Director
Rashad Farooq
Rashad graduated from Leeds University 2005 with an Honours degree in Civil & structural engineering. Following his graduation he worked for a small consulting practice BSCP group, which enabled him to work on a variety of projects ranging from residential builds to superstore rebuilds and conversions. He later moved to WA Fairhurst as a senior structural engineer, where he also perused his MSc specialising in structural engineering at Leeds University. In 2009 he relocated to the south with his family and joined Glanville group, as a project lead, working on larger scaled projects, enhancing skills in Revit and Fastrack. In 2012 Rashad teamed up with a colleague and became the co-owner and director of iStruct Consultants and has since completed thousands of projects from small residential to large multi storey new builds.

Mudassar Malik
Mudassar graduated from Kingston University in 2005 with an Honours degree in Civil Engineering. Following his graduation, Mudassar started his career at JP Chick & Partners Limited in Norwich. During his time at JP Chick Partners Ltd, Mudassar worked closely alongside the regional directors and gained experience in the design of structural elements in all material types. As the company was based in Norfolk, he was involved with numerous barn conversion projects as well as government funded school projects. Mudassar later moved on to the Scott Wilson Group in Lowestoft where he continued his learning. As Mudassar gained more experience, he was given larger projects to manage but missed the hustle and bustle of living in the South of England. He later joined Gyoury Self Partnership in St Albans as a senior structural engineer, where he enjoyed a more client facing role and managed a team of structural engineers and technicians. All the experience gained from Mudassar’s previous employers was put to good use when he teamed up with his colleague Rashad Farooq in 2012 and became the co-owner and director of iStruct Consultants Ltd. Since iStruct Consultants Ltd was formed, we have completed thousands of projects from small residential to large multi-storey new builds.
